Facility Resources: Students will have access to a computers, internet, lounge, medical library, medical records, phones and printers while on duty at the hospital. Exceptions to this policy may occur for students officially enrolled in the Military and Global Health Tracks or completing third-year selective(s) away from the Core Site as part of the Specialty Track requirements. Selective clerkship opportunities are not available away from the Core Site during the third year. If applicable, selective opportunities will be communicated to students at the core site’s discretion after the match. The Core Site determines the selective clerkships available based on the resources at the Core Site. The student may have some ability to choose from a list of available selective clerkships. These are clinical experiences completed in addition to the third-year core clerkships. This site schedules clinical experiences in one month increments. Women's Health (1 month) - Inpatient/Outpatient. Surgery (2 months) - Inpatient/Outpatient. Internal Medicine (2 months) - Inpatient/Outpatient. Child and Adolescent Health (1 month) - Outpatient. Behavioral Health (1 month) - Outpatient. Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. AT Still - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our extensive specialty service lines, which include diagnostics, surgery, physical therapy and occupational health. Our Emergency Room, which is recognized as a Level III Trauma Center by the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons. The Via Christi Heart Center, which supported by our newly renovated $2.6 million Cardiac Stepdown Unit, features a state-of-the-art catheterization lab. Parsi Women's Center, which includes a level II nursery and central fetal monitoring system. A new 40,000-square-foot Surgery Center that includes state-of-the-art technology, including robotic-assisted, minimally invasive surgeries with the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.
